Follow the steps below…

1. Create a ShortStaf Host Account
Download the app ShortStaf on iOS or Android.

Select the “Host an Event” option and create your host account.
2. Create your Event
Create your event in the app by selecting “Create Event” on your home dashboard.

Then, enter all of your party details, including the type of positions you need and how much you are paying.
Checkout and Post
You pay ShortStaf one time and we take care of the staff so there is no need to handle paying everyone at the end of the night 🙂

Don’t worry, you only pay for the staff you confirm, anything left over will be refunded within 24 hours after event time.

Sign up and Create a ShortStaf Account
Create your Event
- Fill out your event details
- Select the type and amount of staff positions you need and for how long you need them.
- Add any specifics, like attire or event vibe
- Done!
Post your event
Your event posting is live and being shown to hundreds of staff that match your requirements
Its a match!
- Staff matches will begin to roll in
- You can view all of the staff that have applied for your event in your events tab
- You can view their profile, experience, and reviews and ratings
Select your Staff
- Select the staff you would like to work your party or event by accepting them.
- Then they will confirm if they are still available
- Accept as many staff as you like, but remember that the first staff member to confirm gets the job!

Once your accepted staff confirms, its time to start communicating any important details with your staff.

Chat with your staff
- Keep your staff up to date with any changes
- Share details here like where to park
